Briefly, I love what I do! After living in many places in this country, primarily in the North, the South, and the West, I came to love real estate; moreover, I developed a sense of exactly how “home” feels in all its various configurations, shapes, and sizes. I enjoy helping my buyer clients connect with that feeling–whatever it may be for them.
Additionally, as the daughter of an engineer and the wife of a man well versed in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, and most things that make up a house–not to mention that we renovated an investment home together–I am aware of the systems in a home and can help my clients with inspection questions regarding the integrity of these systems. Many times, first-time buyers will not be knowledgeable about a home’s systems, and this is where I can help. This same knowledge base makes me a strong resource for home sellers, enabling them to ready their home for optimum sale and assisting them in finding the best buyers for their home.
The underlying reason for my work involves horses. I am proud to note that I am currently serving as the Vice President of the Board of Directors at Equine Advocates in Chatham, NY. I am not a lifelong horse enthusiast; instead, I came to love horses after learning about the plights they suffer in this country and beyond. Ending horse slaughter, whether for human or animal consumption, and providing safe havens for abused horses are things I am passionate about.
Here I am with one of the four horses my husband and I sponsor. Meet Elinore!
